Gather with friends and family this summer just a quick 15-minute drive down I-4 to Dr. Phillips Center for live entertainment, movie nights, and more. Here are several fun summer events for you to enjoy:
Now through mid-December, Frontyard Festival is in full swing with movie nights to enjoy with the whole family and live music events featuring fantastic artists.
Grab your tickets to enjoy some classic films, including: National Lampoon’s Vacation, Jumanji, and Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.
Or plan a date night and grab an Uber to go sing along with Dave Koz & Friends, King Crimson with special guest The California Guitar Trio, Air Supply, Mary Chapin Carpenter with Marc Cohn and Shawn Colvin, The Temptations & Four Tops, and tons more!
In addition to the Frontyard Festival events, the Dr. Phillips Center hosts a variety of other events throughout the year. Two classic musicals to look forward to this summer include:
- A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum from July 23rd to July 25th
- West Side Story on August 6th & August 7th
In addition to a fabulous concert and event center, Nine12 Gateway is just ten minutes from the Orlando Science Center, one of Orlando’s most popular attractions, with something fun for all ages to enjoy! They host a variety of special events as well. If you’re a runner, you can sign up for the Celebration of Running 5K taking place on August 14th this summer. If you’re planning a wedding, make sure to grab a ticket to Unveil: Wedding Showcase happening on August 18th.
